What a surprise.
It has been a year since I came up with the idea for my debut short film " Garden Therapy" and now my Debut film has been selected as an official entry in the Fort Myers Film Festival March 21-25. With little more than three weeks to prepare I am now scrambling to get the film marketed. Creating this blog and a twitter account as well as designing posters, cards, etc. while making plans to head down to the festival will take much of what little free time I have left.
It is quite amazing that just three years ago I was laid off from my position as a financial analyst and decided to go back to school. Instead of taking a step back towards a degree in accounting, I took a leap of faith and decided to make the most of my college experience by studying film and joining the marching band.
At a time when most of my friends are looking towards retirement, I am embarking on a new and exciting roller coaster ride, fast, with numerous highs and lows. With the fearlessness of a twenty-year old and the wisdom of an almost fifty-something, I am
strapped in my seat, with my hands in the air and as the train leaves the platform I say to myself... WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING?

Debut UCF Film Official Entry in Fort Myers Film Festival!
